Hello :) my name is Alicia, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have always had a special connection with them. Dogs have been part of my family for as long as I can remember, and we have always loved having pets at home. A few years ago my dog passed away, and i started pettsitting and i really like it. Because of this, I have plenty of experience caring for dogs and cats and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them.

I currently live in a spacious family apartment with my family, who also love animals and are very happy to have them around. We have a cat at home who is used to sharing her space with other animals. However, because she is part of our family, I always make sure that any dog staying with us is known to be comfortable and safe around cats. We can also welcome other cats. My priority is always to make sure that every animal feels safe, comfortable and relaxed.

I am currently studying for a university degree online, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time at home with the animals I look after. I also have my own car, so I can easily travel to other homes and provide services such as dog walking, home visits and pet sitting.

I am happy to welcome pets into my home, but I can also come to your home to look after your pets or take your dog for regular walks. I am flexible and happy to discuss what works best for each animal and each owner. For dog walks, I usually stay close to my home, where there is a lovely walking path alongside the river. It is a very popular area for walking dogs, with lots of greenery and no traffic, so dogs can enjoy their walk in a calm and safe environment. I don’t like to rush walks. Every dog is different and has different needs, so I adapt the pace and duration to each dog and let them take the time they need to explore, sniff and enjoy themselves. From time to time, I also like to take dogs into the nearby woods, where they can enjoy a longer walk surrounded by nature and greenery. I find that it is a particularly nice environment for dogs to relax, explore and have a good time.

For me, looking after animals is much more than simply a job. I truly love their company and enjoy giving them attention, affection, playtime and care. I miss having a dog of my own at home, so having the opportunity to care for other people’s pets is something I genuinely enjoy.
