Hi!🤗 My name is Alexia, and I’m currently a master’s student at UNIL in Lausanne. I’ve always been a huge animal lover, and I honestly can’t imagine my life without them!

Back home in Romania, I have a 16-year-old rescue dog, a cat I rescued last summer, and a chinchilla. Growing up surrounded by animals has taught me a lot about their different personalities, habits, and needs. From energetic pets who love to play to older animals who prefer a slower pace, I’ve learned how important it is to give each of them the attention and patience they deserve.

Being away from my own pets while studying in Switzerland is actually one of the reasons I would love to become a pet sitter. I really miss having animals around, and spending time with yours would be something I genuinely enjoy!

I’m a calm, caring, and responsible person, and I understand how important it is to know that your pet is in good hands.

I offer pet sitting services at the owner’s home for both cats and dogs, including home visits, feeding, playtime, companionship, and dog walking. I’m very flexible when it comes to walks and happy to spend as much time outdoors as your dog needs, whether that means a long, energetic walk or a shorter, more relaxed one. I always adapt to each pet’s personality, energy level, and usual routine.

Having a senior dog myself has also taught me to be especially patient and gentle with older pets. I know that some animals need more time, reassurance, or attention than others, and I’m more than happy to adapt to their needs.

I’ll also gladly send you photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being well cared for.

For me, pet sitting isn’t just about feeding an animal or taking them for a walk. It’s about making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their favorite person is away. I would treat your pet with the same love and attention I give to my own! 🐾
